The undeniable chemistry between Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone will once again capture audiences' hearts this December in a new musical drama. La La Land is a modern take on an old Hollywood-style tale of romance between a jazz musician and an aspiring actress.

Grammy-nominated composer Justin Hurtwitz, who wrote for Whiplash, has provided the sonic storyline for this film, displaying heartthrob Gosling's lesser-known talent as a singer. Vanity Fair's Julie Miller describes this eagerly anticipated film here.

In a recently released tempting trailer, Gosling croons a haunting jazz piece while images of his love affair with Stone's character roll on the screen. A longing melody is whistled over an enchanting piano line in "City of Stars," the first song released from the film's soundtrack.

This tantalizing teaser has intrigued viewers and left them yearning to see what this romantic film will entail. Read Charles Bramesco's take on this entrancing piece and get swept away while viewing the La La Land trailer in this Rolling Stone article.

The SongHunters - Doug Diamond, Dave Weiss & Dave Hnatiuk, are always emailing me asking for submissions for their placement opportunities. They listen attentively to each of my submissions and end up getting me a synch license every so often - the last one with Airwalk Shoes. These guys are professional, helpful, and prompt with communication, working hard to get my music placed.  And they're nice guys too! Thanks SongHunters!"

"This book had a direct impact on my career. From the multiple books that I have read on building a career in the music industry, this book is the most eye opening, informative, and useful of them all. It is akin to taking the brains and experience of fifty music industry vets and inserting them directly into your head."  –Adam A. Johnson

"Thank you for writing the Music Supervision book. I am a singer/songwriter, but wanted to better understand the perspective of music supervisors, and this book definitely helps me to do that."
