Independent rights management company, ole, has some big news to share to close out this exciting week. The fast growing company has just acquired 5 Alarm Music, which will add to their already deep production-music resources. 5 Alarm Music is an independent production music library, and will add 130,000 tracks to ole's existing library, which now totals 750,000 controlled tracks.

With the deal, 5 Alarm will gain access to ole's significant infrastructure resources, and will also open up new cross-marketing opportunities for both companies. This is huge news for both companies, considering the significant success that 5 Alarm Music has already experienced. 5 Alarm specializes in custom compositions, music replacement, music editing, cutting edge music technology, music directors, and access to more than 80 production-music libraries from around the world. Combined with the massive resources of ole, the partnership is bound for many projects to come.

Testimonials

  • "I am one of the top mixers and producers in the country and have had years of experience in the music and associated businesses.

My company licenses songs and seeks songs to be licensed for films, TV and Commercials and thus I have worked with many people in the licensing industry and discovered there is a wide range and degree of service and quality when you seek songs.

In my experience, I have found that The SongHunters exhibit a real knack at delivering the right songs and offering a wide range of music in all areas to choose from.

Dave Hnatiuk, David Weiss and Doug Diamond are hands on and believe the quality service does not stop at sending a music file to choose from. They believe in follow-up and follow-through and are there for you as long as and to the extent that you need them.

They not only provide great songs for your needs, but also provide you with some great solicitations for your music on their own projects. Do I recommend them? You bet I do! And that recommendation is earned, not just given!"

"This book had a direct impact on my career. From the multiple books that I have read on building a career in the music industry, this book is the most eye opening, informative, and useful of them all. It is akin to taking the brains and experience of fifty music industry vets and inserting them directly into your head."  –Adam A. Johnson

"Thank you for writing the Music Supervision book. I am a singer/songwriter, but wanted to better understand the perspective of music supervisors, and this book definitely helps me to do that."
