Qwire, Cloud Platform For Music-To-Picture, Raises $2.5 Million; Licensed By ABC Studios

When capital invests in the music supervision space, that's positive news. Heading up the good tidings today is Qwire, a cloud platform for streamlining music-to-picture workflow,which has announced a $2.5 million funding round.

Based in New York City and Los Angeles, Qwire is also being licensed by ABC Studios, with "The Muppets," "Parenthood," "About a Boy," and "Galavant" already having utilized the platform. On other networks/cable, Qwire has been tapped by "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce," "American Crime," and "Blood and Oil."
