Record Play Supervise Brazuca Around The World

Posted by

brazucaThe UK-based “Independent Music Consultants” at Record Play have blossomed from a small sole proprietorship into a booming global licensing firm.

Lately most of their work has been in the athletic world with projects for Adidas, Reebok, and Atomic Ski, but as the highly anticipated FIFA world-cup approaches, Record Play has most recently snagged a stellar supervision gig for Adidas’s Brazuca campaign.

The company likely scored the job because of their longstanding relationship with the sportswear brand, but the fact that they also supervised Adidas’s initial Brazuca world-cup announcement last Winter certainly helped.

The current campaign is a “saga” of adverts featuring tracks that perfectly accompany each country’s video. Head to Record Play’s website to read the details, watch all of the clips and hear the adidas football Soundcloud playlist!

Music supervision today requires serious multi-tasking and the ability to navigate licensing, relationships, and cultural trends with ease. This book guides you through real scenarios and legal landmines you might encounter; it explores sound design and profiles key players with insightful interviews, while providing project form templates that will save time for seasoned music supervisors.

This is the only guide to the career of music supervision and is ideal for the music student, musician, industry executive and of course, for those who want to break into the field of music supervision. Authors David Weiss, Ramsay Adams and David Hnatiuk are all renowned figures in the procurement and supervision of music and they apply their combined knowledge and experience to give the best possible advice and tell you how to get the job!
