Downtown Music Publishing Signs 311

Posted by

Downtown Music PublishingNot only has Downtown Music Publishing just opened their first London office, but they’ve also just signed multi-platinum psychedelic band, 311! Downtown controls a catalog of over 80,000 titles including tracks by The Beatles, Hans Zimmer, Motley Crue, and Ellie Goulding.

The firm’s President, Justin Kalifowitz, announced earlier this week that they have signed a “worldwide publishing administration agreement” with the band known for its laid-back and mellow tunes. The agreement will reportedly span the “1995 eponymous album through their latest LP,” and will include all of their hit singles.

Despite the band’s success since their formation in 1990 (in Nebraska, no less) this will mark their “First ever worldwide publishing deal,” according to Kalifowitz. To read more about the deal, and about the other exciting projects Downtown is working on, visit their website or check them out on Twitter!
